We set no cookies
ZV Media does not set cookies, and it runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What the site keeps on your device
A few preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers them between visits:

The preference keys never leave your device and do not identify you. The session key is what keeps you signed in, and it is only sent to our account system. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them, and the site simply goes back to its defaults.
When you play something
Videos on the archive channel can be YouTube videos in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, or Vimeo videos with Vimeo’s do-not-track setting on. No player loads until you press play, though the still in front of a YouTube video comes from YouTube’s image server. Once you press play, that service’s own policies apply to its player. Reels are streamed from Google Photos, and photos and clips uploaded here from our own file storage; a photo or clip we link from another site loads from that site. Your browser requests those files from those servers when they appear or play.
The Listen window
The Listen channel shows zadan.xyz, our music site, in a window. While that window is open, zadan.xyz can keep its own settings, such as whether you chose sound, in storage your browser holds for it and keeps apart from this site’s keys. Its own cookie policy covers those. Closing the window stops it loading until you tune back to the channel.
