Privacy policy

ZV Media is the media side of Zathena Ventures, LLC. This page covers zvmedia.xyz and says exactly what the site collects. The short version: only what you type into a form, nothing to track you, and nothing sold.

When you request a shoot

We keep your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the shoot location, your notes, the time you picked and your time zone. We use them to confirm, schedule and run the shoot, and to email you about it.

A booking request also creates an account record for your email address in the account system shared by the Zathena Ventures family of sites, so the booking stays linked to you. It has no password, does not sign you up for anything, and sends you no marketing.

When you sign in

Signing in uses your email address only. We send a one-time link from no-reply@zathenaventures.xyz, and the account it opens is shared across the Zathena Ventures family of sites. There is no password. While you are signed in, your browser keeps a session token so you stay signed in; signing out removes it, and signs you out of the other Zathena Ventures sites too.

When you press Sign in, your browser first stops at zathenaventures.xyz for a moment. If you are already signed in there, it vouches for you and you come straight back signed in here, with no email. If you are not, you come straight back and we send a link as usual. Nothing is shared with anyone outside the Zathena Ventures family of sites.

When you send a message

The Help form sends your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the subject, your message, any file you attach and the address of the page you sent it from. Messages arrive in the Zathena Ventures support inbox and in the ZV Media control room, where our staff read and answer them, and you get a confirmation email. Sending a message also creates the same kind of account record as a booking and emails you an optional sign-in link, so replies stay tied to you.

Keeping the forms safe

To stop automated abuse, the booking and message forms count requests per connection using a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash cannot be turned back into the address.

Where it is kept

Form data is stored in our hosted database with Supabase, in the United States. The site’s pages are served by our web host, which keeps standard server logs. Email is sent from our own mail server.

On your device

The site sets no cookies. It saves a few things in your browser’s local storage: whether you entered with sound, day or night viewing, your accessibility settings, and, only around signing in, the page to return to and your session. The cookie policy lists them.

Other services your browser talks to

• Google Photos, which serves the reel stills and video streams.
• YouTube, which serves the still in front of each YouTube video, and its player only after you press play, in its privacy-enhanced mode.
• Vimeo, only after you press play on a Vimeo video, with its do-not-track setting on.
• Our file storage, which serves photos and clips uploaded to this site. A photo or clip we link from another site loads from that site.
• zadan.xyz, which the Listen channel shows in a window. That site is ours too, and its own privacy policy covers what it loads.

There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including the account record. Email support@zathenaventures.xyz from the address you used. This site is not directed at children under 13.
